The Lincoln Pro Women's Tennis Open runs on volunteers. Since day one, this tournament has been built by Nebraska tennis lovers, high school students, and community members who show up to make sure players from around the world have a professional-caliber experience right here in Lincoln. Whether you have a few hours or the whole week to give, there's a role for you.
why volunteer
Volunteering here means more than staffing an event - it means helping grow Nebraska's home for professional women's tennis, and giving young athletes in our community a front-row seat to the sport at its highest level. Volunteers get a behind-the-scenes look at a professional tournament, and a chance to be part of something the whole state can be proud of.
VOLUNTEER ROLES
BALL CREW
Our Ball Person Program gives local students hands-on experience working courtside at a professional tennis event. Ball crew members work directly with officials and players throughout the tournament. Training is provided — no prior ball crew experience required, just reliability and a willingness to learn
Hospitality & Player Services
Help welcome players, officials, and guests, and support day-to-day hospitality needs like transportation coordination, meals, and player check-in.
Event & Gate Support
Greet spectators, hand out programs, help with seating, and be a friendly face at the gates and around the venue throughout tournament week.
Court & Facility Support
Help with court setup and breakdown, equipment, signage, and keeping the venue running smoothly each day.

Open to community members age 12 and up; ball crew program open to local high school students
